GDPNow

The Atlanta Fed's real-time GDP nowcast, updated 6-8 times per quarter.

Definition

GDPNow aggregates incoming indicators into a model-based estimate of the quarter's GDP growth rate before BEA releases advance data. Historically, GDPNow's final pre-release estimate is within 0.4 percentage points of the advance GDP print.
